Position Overview

Atlas Medical is hiring a Healthcare Sales Development Representative — Research & Appointment Setting to help identify U.S. hospitals with upcoming imaging or cath lab projects and book qualified intro meetings with our sales leadership.

This is not a basic cold calling role where you are handed a list and asked to dial all day.

This role requires research, account preparation, stakeholder identification, professional outbound calling, follow-up, and CRM documentation.

You will research hospitals, identify relevant decision-makers, contact them by phone and email, qualify whether there is an upcoming project, and schedule intro meetings for Atlas Medical.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a larger sales role. A successful SDR will have a path to promotion into an Associate Sales Representative position.

What You’ll Do

  • Research U.S. hospitals and health systems
  • Review project signals such as public filings, hospital announcements, construction updates, and internal lead lists
  • Identify likely decision-makers and influencers
  • Build contact lists for target hospital accounts
  • Make outbound calls to hospital stakeholders
  • Send professional follow-up emails
  • Ask discovery questions to understand project timing, equipment replacement plans, vendor information, construction timelines, and interim coverage needs
  • Book qualified intro meetings with Atlas Medical’s sales leadership
  • Maintain accurate notes and next steps in CRM
  • Follow up consistently until the lead is booked, disqualified, or clearly not interested

Who You’ll Be Calling

You will contact hospital professionals such as:

  • Radiology Directors
  • Imaging Directors
  • Cath Lab Directors
  • Interventional Radiology Directors
  • Cardiovascular Service Line Directors
  • Imaging Operations Managers
  • Facilities Managers
  • Construction Project Managers
  • VP of Operations / COO-level contacts when appropriate

These are professional, operationally focused conversations with healthcare leaders. You must be comfortable speaking clearly, respectfully, and confidently.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means you are consistently able to:

  • Research the right hospital accounts
  • Identify the right stakeholders
  • Start professional conversations
  • Ask intelligent qualifying questions
  • Handle objections calmly
  • Book qualified intro meetings
  • Document work accurately in CRM
  • Follow up without letting opportunities fall through the cracks

You will be measured primarily by:

  • Qualified meetings booked
  • Relevant stakeholder conversations
  • Quality of research
  • Follow-up completion
  • CRM accuracy
  • Meeting show rate
  • Opportunities generated

This Role Is a Good Fit If You Are

  • Comfortable making outbound calls
  • Skilled at researching companies and people before calling
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Clear and professional on the phone
  • Persistent without being pushy
  • Able to follow a structured sales process
  • Comfortable asking questions and listening carefully
  • Able to write professional follow-up emails
  • Interested in healthcare, medical technology, or B2B sales
  • Motivated by a path into a higher-level sales role

This Role Is Not a Good Fit If You

  • Only want to make calls from a fully prepared list
  • Do not want to research accounts before calling
  • Prefer scripted, high-volume dialing only
  • Do not like documenting your work
  • Are uncomfortable speaking with managers, directors, or executives
  • Are not willing to learn a technical healthcare-related service
  • Are not competitive

Required Qualifications

  • Prior outbound calling, appointment setting, SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience
  • Strong speaking and email writing skills
  • Professional phone presence
  • Ability to research companies and contacts online
  • Strong follow-up discipline
  • Basic CRM or spreadsheet experience
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience calling U.S. businesses or healthcare organizations
  • Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot or similar
  • Experience with LinkedIn research
  • Experience booking B2B meetings
  • Experience selling or setting appointments for technical, medical, construction, equipment, or service-based businesses

Healthcare experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right candidate on Atlas Medical’s services and target customer profile.

Promotion Path

This role is designed as an entry point into Atlas Medical’s sales organization.

A successful Healthcare SDR may be promoted to Associate Sales Representative after demonstrating consistent performance in:

  • account research
  • stakeholder identification
  • qualified meeting generation
  • CRM discipline
  • professional communication
  • understanding of Atlas Medical’s services
  • ability to manage early-stage sales conversations

The Associate Sales Representative role would involve greater responsibility in managing opportunities, running discovery calls, and supporting the sales process beyond initial appointment setting.

Compensation

Compensation includes:

  • Performance bonuses for qualified meetings
  • Future promotion opportunity into Associate Sales Representative role

A qualified meeting generally means:

  • the hospital has an active or upcoming imaging, cath lab, renovation, construction, outage, or capacity-related project
  • the meeting includes a relevant stakeholder
  • there is interest in discussing interim coverage
  • the prospect attends the scheduled meeting

Schedule

  • 40 hours/week
  • Fully Remote Role

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and answer the following questions:

  1. Describe your outbound calling or appointment-setting experience.
  2. Have you ever had to research leads before calling them? If yes, give an example.
  3. How would you find the right person to contact inside a hospital or large organization?
  4. What CRM systems have you used?
