We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Senior Estimator to join our team.
Position Overview
The Commercial HVAC Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have strong trade knowledge, experience reviewing plans and specifications, and the ability to manage multiple bids while working collaboratively with vendors, subcontractors, project managers, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Prepare detailed labor, material, and equipment estimates.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and scope reviews.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks.
- Assist with bid preparation and project turnover meetings.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Must have HVAC estimating experience (commercial preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, sheet metal, and piping.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
