What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Representative position at Atlas Industrial Outsourcing LLC?
Atlas is currently looking for a Safety Representative to work in Boise, ID. on a new construction build out.
Core Responsibilities & Requirements:
• Daily Site Navigation: Must access scaffolding daily, with wall heights exceeding 60 feet, and be highly familiar with our Fraco and conventional systems.
• Safety Monitoring: Oversight of CMU installation, scaffold erection/dismantling, crane rigging, forklift operation, safe lifting techniques, repetitive motion activities, PPE, etc.
• Experience Level: Minimum of 3 years strictly as a safety representative.
• Required Certifications: Current OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, and 24-hour fall protection training.
• Schedule Flexibility: We are currently running an aggressive Monday–Saturday schedule. We plan to drop Saturdays eventually, but the rep must be dependable and available for this current schedule.
• Team-Oriented Approach: Must have a collaborative attitude and be willing to work with the foreman, masons, tenders, and others. We need someone who will not only identify possible safety violations but actively search for solutions alongside the crew.
