Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Aesthetic Nurse Injector to join our dedicated Atlas Health & Wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive nursing experience, particularly in aesthetic procedures such as dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments, and have a strong background in patient care, medical documentation, and sterile techniques. The nurse will collaborate closely with Nurse Practitioner to deliver safe, effective, and personalized care to clients seeking cosmetic enhancements.

Duties

• Administer botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and skin evaluations.
• Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, post-procedure care, and potential risks.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic standards.
• Utilize sterile techniques during procedures, including aseptic technique for injections and laser treatments.
• Operate advanced aesthetic equipment such as esthetic lasers, ensuring proper calibration and safety measures.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures for adverse reactions or complications.
• Collaborate with proivder(s) on complex cases involving dermatology, ophthalmology, or other specialties related to aesthetic medicine.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in aesthetic nursing practices through ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license with current registration; experience in dermatology or aesthetic nursing preferred.
• Proven experience administering injections, including botulinum toxin treatment and dermal fillers preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to aesthetic procedures.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous.
• Experience working within sterile environments using aseptic technique during procedures.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively about treatment plans and expectations.
• Knowledge of medical documentation standards including ICD coding (ICD-9/10) is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.
• Additional skills such as laser treatment certification or experience in ophthalmology are a plus but not required.
