- Independently prepares GAAP-based Monthly Group Reporting and/or cooperates on monthly IFRS close procedures
- Books non-standard and complex accruals
- Performs General Ledger activities, monthly bank recs, journals, corrections, non-standard entries, non-payroll accruals, CC re-classes and reviews and other country specific tasks (statistics etc.)
- Prepares balance sheet reconciliations and provides BS and P&L analysis
- Maps accounts from Trillium software and reports into parent company SAP
- Deals with Actg Software queries, performs analysis relating to month end or analysis in area of expertise
- Ensures that the sub-ledgers and general ledgers are complete and accurate
- Ensures that all balances are existing, complete and properly supported
- Proactively participate in the external annual audit – be one of the primary contacts for external auditors and provide them with necessary data and explanations for their annual audit
- Proactively participate in the internal audit – be one of the primary contacts for internal auditors and provide them with necessary data and explanations for their audit
- Proactively shares information and knowledge with others within the team and whole business
- Independently cooperates on statutory accounts, and works with tax department for tax items
- Establish true partnership with internal Atlas Copco customers
- Support the overall idea of the Service Center/Hub
- Support that all process specifics and tasks are documented and updated
- Actively participate in process/systems improvements and continuous improvement activities to increase process efficiency and productivity
- Suggest improvements of standards processes to the process owner
- Participate in training sessions of new colleagues
- Other duties as assigned
- Understanding Financial statements
- US GAAP knowledge with moderate IFRS knowledge
- Service-minded and customer-oriented problem solver
- Analytical skills
- Team player
- Flexibility, proactive approach, self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation in English
- MS Office, SAP experience a plus
- 2-4 years GL responsibility, audit experience, IFRS reporting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret written document
- Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries
- Ability to prepare reports, and write business correspondence
Salary: $95,000/yr
