Purchasing Intern

Your role

Are you majoring in Supply Chain, Business or a related field? Are you looking for some real-world job experience? If yes, this internship is for you! The Atlas Copco Group will be offering a 10-week paid summer internship to an undergraduate or graduate student.

The Intern Will Work Within The Purchasing Team On a Wide Variety Of Projects And Assignments, Including But Not Limited To

• Assist in monitoring vendor performance
• Use SAP and other systems to gather and analyze supplier data
• Prepare information for supplier review meetings and performance improvement plans
• Implement strategic sourcing initiatives
• Assist with monitoring inventory levels
• Communicate urgent needs to necessary parties

• Enrolled as a Junior/Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college, university or technical/vocational institution
• Obtaining a degree in Supply Chain, Distribution, or Business Administration
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Have excellent attention to detail, be well-organized and show initiative.
• Take initiative, positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Experience using Microsoft office programs.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our South Charlotte location.
