What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinarian position at Atlas Consultancy Group?
GP & Urgent Care DVM Opportunity in Henrietta, NY. Competitive sign-on bonus!
We are working on behalf of a modern, full-service veterinary hospital and urgent care centre in the Rochester, NY area, that is looking to welcome an Urgent Care or General Practice Veterinarian to its growing team. This is a well-established, community-focused practice that offers general practice and urgent care services to a diverse patient base, including dogs, cats, and exotic species.
The hospital has built an outstanding reputation locally and is proud to be the only urgent care provider in the Rochester area that specializes in both small animal and exotic pets. The team works closely with local shelters, rescues, and pet stores, and has become an integral part of the surrounding community since its founding. A strong online presence and loyal client base reflect the quality of care delivered every day.
If you are a veterinarian who wants to focus exclusively on delivering high-quality urgent care medicine — there is an opportunity here for you. The practice operates on an appointment-based model, and doctors are not expected to stay beyond their scheduled shifts — genuine work–life balance is a priority. You'll be supported by a strong team, including licensed technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives, with a 2:1 staff-to-doctor ratio that ensures you have the resources to deliver excellent care.
This is also an opportunity to explore a genuine partnership pathway. The hospital is part of a collaborative group where veterinarians can co-own practices, giving you a stake in the business you help to build. If you're a DVM ready to join a close-knit, team-oriented environment that values compassion, integrity, and professional growth — this is worth exploring.
