What are the responsibilities and job description for the Canning Line Equipment Operator position at Atlas Canning LLC?
Role:
Operate and monitor our aluminum can production line. Responsible for setup, operation, quality checks, and CIP procedures during production runs.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate canning line equipment including filler, seamer, and conveyor systems
- Perform pre-run checks and line clearances
- Monitor fill levels, seam integrity, and carbonation throughout production
- Conduct in-process quality checks and document results
- Perform clean-in-place (CIP) and sanitation procedures
- Assist with ingredient staging and changeovers between SKUs
- Report equipment issues to the Production Lead immediately
Requirements:
- 1 years experience in food or beverage manufacturing preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written SOPs and GMP guidelines
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours
- Forklift experience a plus
- Entry-level candidates with strong work ethic considered
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
