The Practice Manager is responsible for the outpatient practice operations, oversight of workflow and performance of support staff required of surgical specialty practices. The Manager works in concert with the Director of Surgery to ensure the delivery of cost-effective, quality patient care in support of business objectives and organizational strategic goals.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required or in active pursuit of the degree and attained within 3 years from date of hire or transfer.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years' experience required as an administrative/business manager required. Preferably within an ambulatory care setting or managed care operations. Strong Budget Management/Billing experience required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
