Position Summary
Asset Coordinator works closely with Branch Personnel to oversee organizations tangible assets (building, equipment, infrastructure) throughout their lifecycle, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and maximizing value by managing maintenance, tracking performance, planning replacements, ensuring compliance, and developing strategic asset plans to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Interfaces with vendors to negotiate pricing and services to support the branches.
- Coordinate physical branch upkeep, including building systems, maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Train branch personnel in their respective areas of responsibilities to ensure value is delivered.
- Review and determine equipment needs by branch (HVAC, lighting, electrical, etc.).
- Manage relationships with all maintenance subcontractors, including maintaining contact listings. (examples but not limited to: cleaning services, HVAC preventive maintenance contracts, new construction, etc.)
- Establish exterior maintenance services such as landscape / lawncare and snow removal, or develop internal teams for snow / ice removal and grounds upkeep.
- Identify systems requiring maintenance and certifications (boilers, air compressors, etc.).
- Develop a fork lift maintenance and repair program.
- Coordinate annual OSHA inspections for cranes, fork lifts, service truck cranes, and equipment lifts.
- Establish security protocols at each branch location, including current equipment, needs and monitoring responsibilities.
- Perform annual branch inspections to validate compliance with all facility-related requirements.
- Maintain a list of warranties and their expiration dates.
- Develop a program for waste oil removal and tire disposal as well as other hazardous materials.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations during work assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership.
- 4 years experience performing service repairs; proven experience meeting performance metrics preferred.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in building repair and maintenance.
- Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for maintenance purposes.
- Experience with basic computer functions.
- Experience working cooperatively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
- Valid drivers license required; DOT Medical Card and CDL preferred.
