Atlantic Tire Distributors is currently seeking a full-time Outside Salesman to join our team in Knoxville, TN! Our salesmen work for competitive, unlimited pay. Summary:
Outside Sales personnel should be results-driven and are ready to actively seek out and engage prospective clients.
As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of Atlantic Tire in your territory, building strong relationships with independent tire retailers, national and regional chains, and automotive dealerships while driving growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities; include, but not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service and regularly contact prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
- Recommend products to customers, based on their specific needs and interests.
- Answer customer questions relating to products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Solicit new accounts, as well as work on unsold accounts and existing accounts
- Maintain margin, as well as sales volume to objective.
- Work with car dealer parts and service department as well as assisting dealers with warranty claims and point of sale.
- Attend trade events and industry networking functions.
- Collect past due accounts and manage expenses.
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
- Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.
