AMI is seeking a full time Technical Aide to join the team in the Galloway office! This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient Radiology practice and work alongside our exceptional team of physicians and staff.

This position includes administrative / clerical support and is instrumental to the MRI Pacemaker program at AMI.
The Technical Aide is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Prepares charts and registers patients;
- Takes patient history and processes paperwork;
- Monitors the patient in the clinical area when the technologist is elsewhere;
- Works closely with MRI Pacemaker team to gather all information needed to scan patients;
- Assists the technologist with patient care;
- Greeting patients and escorting patients to the changing area, providing gown instructions;
- Assists patients with wheelchairs and dressing as needed; and
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This full time, 40 hour per week position includes a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. One evening schedule of 10:30am-7pm will be scheduled per week. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.
Qualifications
Candidates for this position must be a High School Graduate or a GED recipient; some college coursework preferred. CPR certification (hands-on instruction) required. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent organizational skills, has well developed customer service skills and maintains patient privacy at all times. Candidates must maintain attention to detail in all aspects of their work at all times and must be skilled in utilizing standard office equipment, including computers. Previous radiology practice experience strongly preferred. Candidates should be flexible to work varying shift times and travel to other office locations if needed.
