Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Heating Air Conditioning Technician. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for commercial clients. Additional tasks include troubleshooting mechanical systems, performing preventive maintenance, conducting plumbing repairs, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and diagnosing and resolving system issues efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve HVAC/R system issues effectively
- Knowledge and experience in plumbing techniques and repairs
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity
- Understanding of EPA regulations and certifications related to safe refrigerant handling
- Basic knowledge of electricity as it relates to HVAC/R systems
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to work sites
- Completion of a relevant vocational training program or equivalent work experience is preferred
- Prior experience in commercial HVAC/R systems is a strong advantage
