Seasonal Groundskeeper / Gardener
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Seasonal Groundskeeper/Gardener to help maintain the beauty and appearance of our property throughout the growing season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in creating well-maintained landscapes, and is comfortable performing a variety of landscaping and property maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Plant, weed, mulch, water, and maintain flower beds, gardens, and landscaped areas.
- Trim shrubs and hedges, edge walkways and paths
- Remove leaves, branches, and other debris to keep grounds clean and attractive.
- Monitor plant health and report signs of pests, disease, or irrigation issues.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
- Assist with seasonal planting and landscape improvements.
- Perform general outdoor maintenance and support other property upkeep projects as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working order.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, groundskeeping, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of plants, flowers, shrubs, and basic horticultural practices is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Schedule:
- Seasonal position
- Full-time or part-time hours available
- Weekends or holidays may be required depending on property needs
