Responsibilities And Essential Functions
- Design and implement health promotion strategies to support lifestyle changes, improve outcomes, and foster a healthier work environment.
- Develop and manage well-being programs that drive team member engagement and participation, based on best practices and identified needs.
- Lead resiliency initiatives, including oversight of the peer responder network and programs that promote connection and decompression.
- Create and manage well-being communications, partnering with HR Branding to maintain a robust communication strategy spanning various communication channels.
- Oversee the Well-Being Champion Network, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with well-being goals.
- Engage team members in behavior change, using coaching techniques and referrals to appropriate resources for preventive care and healthy living.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on health and well-being strategies, providing guidance and support across the organization.
- Evaluate program performance, using data to assess impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Promote a healing culture through environmental and cultural initiatives that support healthy behaviors.
- Collaborate across departments to implement well-being projects, organize health events, and provide technical support with a customer-focused approach.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Experience with health promotion programs, program design and evaluation, corporate wellness, and health and wellness coaching.
- Ability to communicate and convey health and wellness information and coaching in an engaging, dynamic manner and easily develop relationships and rapport.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, comfortable speaking and presenting to both individuals and groups of various levels.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, computer skills
- Ability to effectively outreach, engage, and motivate others to inspire well-being.
- Experience with using technology to promote engagement a plus.
- Ability to create engaging communication materials
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, health education, nutrition or a related health field required.
- Master's degree in public health, health education, nutrition or a related health field preferred.
- 5 years of related experience preferred
- Certification or relevant experience as a health and wellness coach required.
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred.
- Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS) preferred, or willingness to become certified within first year.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred.
