Atlantic Group is hiring a Tax Equity Investment Associate in Boston, MA for our client, supporting investment analysis, transaction execution, and portfolio management across tax-advantaged investment strategies. This role partners with senior investment professionals to evaluate opportunities, structure transactions, and manage investments throughout their lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience in tax equity investing, renewable energy finance, project finance, or real estate investment and thrives in a fast-paced institutional investment environment.
Responsibilities as the Tax Equity Investment Associate:
- Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities through financial modeling, due diligence, risk analysis, and investment memorandum preparation.
- Transaction Execution: Support the structuring, negotiation, documentation, and closing of investment transactions while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor portfolio performance, maintain investment relationships, and oversee investments throughout their lifecycle.
- Market Research: Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and investment opportunities to support portfolio growth and investment strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, legal, tax, accounting, risk, and investment teams to facilitate transaction execution and ongoing portfolio management.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to investment reporting, workflow enhancements, and analytical processes while leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 4–7 years of experience in investment management, project finance, infrastructure investing, renewable energy finance, private markets, or a related investment role is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with tax equity investing, tax credit transactions, renewable energy, infrastructure, real assets, or alternative investments is required.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, and investment analysis is required. Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance analytical workflows is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, communication, transaction management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate across teams, and support complex investment transactions are required.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
