Senior Tax Analyst (SALT) | Hybrid | Up to $145K Bonus
Position Overview
Join a large, publicly traded organization seeking a Senior Tax Analyst – State & Local Tax (SALT) to support indirect tax compliance, audit defense, and strategic tax planning initiatives. This highly visible role offers exposure to complex multistate tax matters while partnering closely with Finance, Legal, Treasury, and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & use tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
• Lead and support state and local tax audits, including responding to auditor requests and resolving audit issues
• Research taxability of products and services and provide technical guidance
• Monitor state tax law changes and assess business impacts
• Maintain tax automation systems and ERP integrations
• Oversee exemption certificate management and annual state reporting requirements
• Prepare federal excise tax filings and support indirect tax disclosures
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• 5–10 years of tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax environments
• Strong background in state and local indirect tax compliance and audit defense
Preferred Experience
• CPA and/or Master's in Taxation
• Experience with SAP and OneSource tax software
• Exposure to complex multistate tax reporting environments
