Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining accurate general ledger records
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and established internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to REIT or construction environments
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Experience with property management and construction accounting software preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- CPA or CPA-track preferred but not required
