Title: Operations Analyst – Private Credit
Location: Boston, MA
Salary: $90k - $120k
Overview:
We are partnering with a leading alternative investment manager to hire a Private Credit Operations Analyst to support a growing private debt platform. This role sits at the center of deal execution and is responsible for managing the operational lifecycle of complex credit investments—from trade settlement through ongoing loan servicing and cash management.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with direct experience in loan operations, credit products, or bank debt settlements who is looking to deepen their exposure within a collaborative, fast-paced investment environment.
Responsibilities:
Trade Execution & Settlement
- Support the settlement of primary and secondary loan trades, including trade closing, allocation review, and documentation
- Coordinate closely with agent banks, counterparties, and internal deal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution
- Resolve trade discrepancies and manage closing timelines
Loan Operations & Servicing
- Track and process paydowns, drawdowns, interest payments, and rate resets
- Maintain accurate records of loan positions across internal systems (e.g., WSO, ClearPar, Black Mountain)
- Support ongoing loan lifecycle activity, including delayed draw and revolver funding
Cash & Treasury Coordination
- Monitor daily cash positions and execute wire transfers for deal funding
- Partner with treasury and finance teams on capital calls, distributions, and liquidity planning
- Support borrowing activity across credit facilities and CLO structures
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key point of contact for trustees, custodians, and agent banks
- Collaborate with investment, finance, and compliance teams to ensure operational accuracy and alignment
Reporting & Controls
- Prepare reporting across credit facilities, CLOs, and portfolio activity
- Assist with audits, reconciliations, and continuous improvement of operational processes
Qualifications:
- 4–8 years of experience in loan operations, credit operations, or bank debt settlements
- Direct experience with syndicated loans, private credit, or CLO structures
- Strong understanding of trade settlement and loan lifecycle processes
- Experience working with agent banks, trustees, or custodians
- Familiarity with systems such as WSO, ClearPar, or Black Mountain (BMS) is highly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
