Job Overview – Investment Banking Analyst

Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000/year bonus

Location: Montgomery County, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst in Montgomery County, PA for our client, supporting transaction execution, financial modeling, and client advisory within a boutique investment banking environment. This role focuses on valuation analysis, deal execution, and preparing client materials while working closely with senior bankers on active transactions. The position offers strong deal exposure, direct interaction with leadership, and a clear path for career progression within investment banking and private equity.

Responsibilities as the Investment Banking Analyst:

• Financial Modeling: Build detailed financial models including three-statement models and transaction analyses.
• Valuation Analysis: Perform comparable company and precedent transaction analyses.
• Deal Execution: Support M&A transactions from initial analysis through closing and post-deal support.
• Client Materials: Prepare presentations, reports, and transaction-related materials.
• Research: Conduct industry, market, and company research to support engagements.
• Team Collaboration: Work with senior bankers and deal teams to support execution and process coordination.

Qualifications for the Investment Banking Analyst:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in investment banking, transaction services, or a related field is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of M&A processes, financial modeling, and valuation methodologies is required.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling is required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
• Additional: Must have strong ties to the Greater Philadelphia area.
