Position Overview
Our client, a top Credit Fund with 5bn AUM is looking for an Investment Associate to add to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination of deal closings inclusive of negotiating credit agreements with external counsel
- The successful candidate will have an “investment mindset,” a strong work ethic and the desire to develop further their career and expertise in financial services investing, research or investment banking. BDC or Direct Lending experience is beneficial
- Active monitoring of existing portfolio investments, including preparing quarterly updates for existing positions and opportunities under consideration
- Leading due diligence and documentation of primary, co-investment and opportunistic investments
- Supporting the senior investment team in all facets of the business including investment-related analysis, marketing and investor relations-related requests and various ad-hoc topics
- Monitoring clients' private markets investments and portfolios
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably in a leveraged finance, investment banking, or commercial banking environment
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and research skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other proprietary research software]
- CFA or parts passed highly preferred
