Location: Brooklyn, NY
Compensation: $60K-$80K
Hybrid Schedule - 2-3 days in-office per week
Overview:
A large, well-established NYC nonprofit is hiring an Accountant to support their finance team across grants and budgeting. This is a highly program-facing role working closely with internal teams and external funders to manage government-funded programs and ensure budgets and spending are aligned.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of grants or program budgets
- Partner with program teams to align spending with budget needs
- Work with NYC agencies and funders on invoicing and budget-related items
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and grant tracking
- Participate in internal and external meetings tied to funding and program support
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience within a NYC social services or nonprofit organization
- Experience working with NYC agencies (DHS, DOHMH, HRA, etc.)
- Experience with grant invoicing and/or budgeting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
