Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance enterprise data governance frameworks, standards, and controls
- Partner with stakeholders across Investment Operations, Finance, Investor Relations, Technology, and Analytics teams
- Drive data quality initiatives, issue remediation, and governance best practices across critical business datasets
- Support metadata management, data lineage, and master/reference data governance initiatives
- Help improve reporting accuracy, accessibility, and operational efficiency across investment and management reporting processes
- Collaborate with technical teams to support scalable data architecture and reporting solutions
- Assist in establishing governance metrics, scorecards, and KPI tracking for enterprise data health
- Contribute to modernization initiatives involving automation, AI-enabled workflows, and data process optimization
- Support ongoing enhancement of data management and governance operating models across the organization
Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in data governance, data management, investment operations, analytics, or related disciplines
- Experience within private equity, asset management, investment management, hedge funds, or broader financial services environments strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of data quality, governance controls, master data management (MDM), and reporting processes
- Experience working cross-functionally with both business and technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with governance and reporting tools such as Collibra, Alation, Profisee, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, or similar technologies is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment
Preferred Experience
- Private markets or alternative investment data experience
- Investment reporting, portfolio analytics, or valuation data exposure
- Metadata management and data lineage experience
- Exposure to cloud data environments and modern data platforms
- Interest in AI-enabled data operations and process automation
