Construction Superintendent
Location: Lehigh Valley, PA
Position Overview
Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 10 years of superintendent experience, specifically managing highly technical industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead on-site Superintendent for multiple projects within an industrial setting
- Take full ownership of safety, quality, schedule, and field coordination
- Lead and mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Superintendents
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, plant personnel, and inspectors
- Manage detailed schedules and sequencing in complex, operational environments
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site-specific plant requirements
- Conduct daily field reporting, progress tracking, and quality control inspections
- Maintain strong communication with internal project management teams and clients
- Proactively resolve field issues and minimize impact to ongoing plant operations
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
- Proven experience delivering highly technical projects, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sectors
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and complex building systems integration
- Experience working within active industrial or chemical processing environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Preference for candidates without union affiliations
