What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator position at Atlantic Group?
We’re looking for someone eager to learn to join our dynamic and collaborative team as a Construction Estimator in Eddystone, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Read design plans and specifications provided by the customer
- Provide accurate quantitative summaries of reinforcing steel, wire mesh, or bar support accessories
- Collaborate closely with sales department to prepare detailed quotes for customers
- Coordinate and interact with sales and detailing departments throughout the project's lifecycle to manage design details
- Regularly communicate with customers as needed
- Identify, address, and document changes in the project to ensure accurate results
- Create estimates accurately and within deadlines
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelors Preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel required
- Industry software (aSa & Shear 97) preferred
