Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, update, and communicate accounting policies aligned with GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Lead compliance efforts, including internal control design, testing, remediation, and process improvement.
- Research and advise on technical accounting issues, new standards, and emerging regulations.
- Support financial reporting accuracy and oversee disclosure controls.
- Manage and develop team members while collaborating with leadership and auditors.
Qualifications:
- CPA required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with both public accounting and corporate roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting
- Excellent analytical, technical accounting, and communication skills.
- Experience in asset management or other regulated industries preferred.
