This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance ($60-80K annual salary when perm).
Secretary /Executive Assistant
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Secretary /Executive Assistant to support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced hospitality and events environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with strong growth potential. We are looking for someone dependable, sharp, and motivated to grow with our company long-term.
Work Schedule: 5 days a week in office (90% of the time in the East Rockaway office, 10% of the time in the Lawrence office)
Responsibilities:
• Manage emails, calls, and day-to-day correspondence
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal team members
• Assist with event coordination and logistics
• Prepare documents, proposals, and basic reports
• Maintain organization of office systems and files
• Support ownership/management with administrative tasks
Requirements:
• Administrative experience
• Knowledge of kosher cooking
• Experience in hospitality, catering, or event planning is a plus but not required
• Strong computer skills ( microsoft office, email, documents, spreadsheets)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, or Adobe is a plus but not required
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
• Reliable transportation
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
