As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will partner closely with Advisors to support the comprehensive financial planning needs of our clients. This role offers an opportunity to be deeply involved in the day-to-day administration of client accounts, the preparation of investment proposals and performance reviews, and the development of customized financial planning deliverables. Responsibilities:
- Compile monthly & quarterly reports on portfolio performance
- Monitor and update client asset allocations
- Perform due diligence on investment mutual funds, ETF's, separate account managers, and hedge funds
- Prepare and coordinate materials for client meetings
- Compile quarterly tax projections
- Prepare and review of select client income tax returns (Forms 1040, etc).
- Review client estate plans and assist in developing wealth transfer strategies for clients
- Assist with the timely completion and submission of all clients related transaction requests
- Coordinate client money movement and other financial transactions (wires, trades, etc)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (wealth management / financial planning experience preferred)
- Completed or pursuing CFP®, CFA or similar designation (CPA, EA, etc)
- Passed or pursuing Series 65 license examination
- Bachelors’ Degree, with a preferred major in financial planning, business, accounting, finance, or economics
- Experience working with various account custodians (Schwab or Fidelity preferred)
- Ability to speak to the markets, asset allocation, and basic estate and tax planning concepts.
- Experience in drafting communications to clients, communicating with clients and/or other professionals working with clients
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Tamarac, eMoney, Zephyr, Portfolio Center is desirable
- Experience working with ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients with more than $25 million of investment assets is desirable
