Atlantic Construction Sales is an independent sales representative firm representing elite manufacturers across North Carolina, South Carolina, and most of Virginia. We are looking for a territory sales rep for our Virginia Beach/Tidewater territory. Candidates should either be located in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area or be willing to relocate for this position.
· Territory: Virginia Beach, Tidewater, Hampton Roads, and nearby markets
- Travel: Daily in-territory; minimal overnights
- Type: Full-time, field-based
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license and comfort working around active jobsites/at heights (with PPE)
- Experience: Sales experience not required; training provided initially with local rep
- Focus: Grow market share; be a technical resource to contractors, distributors, and architects

Role/What You’ll Do
- Own and grow a defined territory; build brand recognition and market share
- Call on roofing contractors, distributors, architects/consultants, and building owners
- Demonstrate superior customer service skills with the team and customers
- Conduct product demos, lunch-and-learns, and spec support with architects/specifiers
- Support bids and submittals; align system selection to code, warranty, and budget
- Provide light field/technical support when necessary
- Maintain CRM (pipelines, opportunities); manage weekly territory plan
- Represent ACS at trainings, trade shows, industry groups, and community events
What You’ll Bring
- Self-starter, organized, and coachable; strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency or willingness to learn with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Comfortable learning technical concepts and explaining them clearly
- Clean driving record; ability to safely access rooftops with proper fall protection
Nice To Have Or Goals With The Job
- Familiarity with commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, coatings)
- Experience with contractors/distributors or construction product sales
- CRM fluency (Salesforce), plus Teams/SharePoint
