Atlantic Community School District is accepting applications for Substitute Paraprofessionals.
Great flexibility! Hours vary from full days to partial days depending on the assignment. Choose when you want to work through our online absence management system. A criminal as well as a child and adult abuse check are run before an official start.
Applicants will apply through the TeachIowa and provide all required documents necessary for the completion of a personnel file before being cleared for addition to our substitute database. Interested candidates should upload a cover letter and resume outlining their experience and qualifications, along with a copy of credentials/transcripts, and a minimum of three (current) letters of recommendation to include the author's e-mail address for the purpose of a reference survey. In addition, candidates will meet with Central Office to provide additional documents and training certificates as required by the school district.
In order to work in our Schuler or Washington Elementary buildings you must have a Para Certificate or hold an Associate's Degree.
