Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Tax Accountant role based in Williamsburg, VA. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, assisting with financial statement preparation, and providing expert accounting support. Day-to-day tasks include managing tax processes for clients, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting overall accounting operations.
Additional responsibilities will include managing bookkeepers, ensuring clients balance sheets are reconciled. This role would be responsible for starting up the tax division for Atlantic Business Advisors. We are looking for highly motivated, experienced tax accountants who are energized by fast paced diverse work.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and knowledge of Tax regulations
- Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
- Strong Accounting skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification or progression towards obtaining it is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work remote effectively
Salary : $25 - $45
