Job DescriptionAdvantage Toyota of Valley Stream is looking for a motivated Lease Retention Specialist to join our BDC team. This role is 100% focused on lease customers; no internet leads, no phone ups, and no service drive responsibilities.This position is ideal for someone who is organized, consistent, and confident on the phone, with a strong follow-up mindset and a passion for customer retention.The Lease Retention Specialist is responsible for proactively contacting customers with upcoming lease maturities and securing replacement vehicle appointments that result in delivered sales. This role focuses exclusively on lease retention, customer loyalty, and repeat business. - Full-time position- Lease retention only (no internet leads, phone ups, or service drive)Previous experience in BDC, automotive sales, call center, or lease retention preferredStrong phone and follow-up skills, Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent, Comfortable working toward monthly performance goals, Reliable attendance and professional communication. ResponsibilitiesRespond to incoming phone calls, emails, and internet leads in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.Make outbound calls to follow up on leads, schedule appointments, and confirm or reschedule bookings.Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system with accuracy and attention to detail.Makes outbound calls to current customers to remind them of lease termination or equity positions in retail vehiclesMonitor and manage the appointment schedule to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.Maintain knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and dealership offerings to answer customer inquiries effectively.Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required.Helps customers with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-added products, and services via phone, email, text, or chat.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious experience in a customer-facing or call center role; telemarketing experience is a plus.Customer service and/or telephone contact experience.Must be dependable and report to work every day on time.You must be friendly and upbeat, like talking on the phone, and willing to help people find answers to their questions.Must be able to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mail.Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multitask.Excellent bilingual communication skills are a plus.Excellent follow-up skills.Dependable and compliant in following the assigned work schedule, including evening and Saturday hours.Must be a "people person," but still know how to control the conversation.Proficient computer and internet skills.Sales experience is a plus (any industry)We offer:40-hour work week Hourly salary PLUS commissionPaid trainingMedical, Dental, & Vision (after 90 days of employment)401(k)Paid vacationDiscounted vehicle purchasesWe want to hire only the best, so you must pass a drug test and a background check.Schedule 5 Day Workweek (40 hours) Incl Nights and WeekendsSchedule 5 Day (40 Hour) Workweek includes Nights and Weekends.
