The Commercial Project Manager will manage commercial projects to support our aggressive growth in the commercial sector. This role serves as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through accurate project execution and optimized workflows. Commercial Project Management
- Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to client specifications for projects valued at $50,000–$200,000 .
- Act as the single point of contact for commercial clients, setting clear expectations, providing timely updates, and resolving issues to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, production, installation) and external stakeholders (contractors, architects) to align project milestones and deliverables.
- Conduct precise field verifications, comparing purchase orders against CAD drawings to ensure First Time Right (FTR) accuracy.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering long-term relationships and turning clients into advocates through consistent, positive experiences.
- Achieve top customer ratings for project quality, timeliness, and communication.
- Educate clients on products, services, and project cycles to align expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of correspondence, change orders, back charges, and daily logs in ERP systems and client portals.
- Ensure all project activities comply with client agreements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage third-party field corrections cost-effectively, sourcing appropriate vendors and services.
- Stay current on stone fabrication trends, products (granite, quartz, solid surfaces), and technologies to enhance project outcomes.
- Share expertise with sales and operations teams to improve cross-departmental collaboration.
- 3 years in process improvement and project management, ideally in stone fabrication, construction, remodeling, or related industries.
- Proven track record of optimizing workflows and managing commercial projects.
- Experience with ERP software (e.g., Moraware, SPS), CAD drawings, and field verifications.
- Strong background in customer-facing roles, delivering high satisfaction in commercial settings.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple high-stakes projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client and stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), ERP systems, and client portal management.
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to read units of measurement for precise project specs.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional), Lean Six Sigma, or CPIM preferred.
