Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations at our Anniston, AL facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in operations management, and a passion for environmental sustainability. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of employees to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations, including hazardous waste handling.
- Customer Service: Build and maintain relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow the business, including expanding services and improving operational efficiency.
- Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare reports, and communicate results to senior management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in waste management, recycling, or a related industry.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling, or paint disposal processes is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with inventory or operations software is an advantage.
