We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources & Administrative Coordinator to support daily office operations and assist with key HR functions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background and experience supporting Human Resources in areas such as recruiting, onboarding, employee records, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR department and office leadership.
- Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee files and HRIS records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents.
- Support employee relations by responding to routine HR questions and directing employees to appropriate resources.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee paperwork.
- Track attendance, maintain personnel records, and assist with payroll-related documentation.
- Help coordinate training programs, employee recognition, and company events.
- Assist with workers' compensation documentation and safety records as needed.
- Maintain office supplies, filing systems, and general office organization.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, managers, and visitors.
- Perform other administrative and HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 2–5 years of administrative or office support experience.
- 1–3 years of HR support or HR Generalist experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Recruiting and onboarding experience.
- Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with benefits administration or payroll support.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification is a plus.
