Litigation Paralegal

AALRR is seeking a litigation paralegal to be responsible for performing the full range of litigation paralegal tasks from case inception through discovery, trial, post-trial proceedings, and case closure. Experience with employment/ wage & hour litigation is a plus.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESManage assigned cases and their related tasks and projects from case inception through discovery, trial, post-trial proceedings, and case closureAssist with client document collection and witness interviewsAssist in propounding discovery and other statutory requests; assist attorneys with document review and production; prepare and review case files; discovery and trial documents in all aspects of case managementPrepare complex wage and hour analyses in ExcelDeposition and trial preparation and supportWork with Litigation Support to insure that electronic files are collected, reviewed, and managed in accordance with Firm standardsMust be able to work overtime as requiredQUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 5 years of substantive litigation experienceMust have strong knowledge of state and federal court rulesE-filing experience in state and federal courtsComprehensive knowledge of all facets of the litigation lifecycle: case management, document review, and trial experienceProficiency in e-discovery and litigation support tools such as CaseMap, Ipro, and RelativityProficiency in Microsoft Office suite including but not limited to: ability to utilize styles/macros in word; ability to create tables of authorities and contents; strong Excel skills with pivot tables and formulasWell-organized; demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities and have excellent oral and written communication skillsSuperior client service skillsExcellent judgment and decision-making skills and strong teamwork orientationMust meet California Business & Professional Code §6450 requirements, bachelor’s degree strongly preferredSalary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
