Job Description Summary
Basic Purpose
The Data and Process Excellence Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of operational data and transforming elevator inspection data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and process improvement. This role supports leadership and cross-functional teams by exporting, manipulating, analyzing, and forecasting inspection-related data to improve planning, compliance, and service delivery. The Specialist plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making and advancing operational and process effectiveness across the organization.
Scope
The Data and Process Excellence Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and effective use of operational data to support process efficiency and informed decision-making across the organization. The scope of this role includes maintaining and governing elevator inspection data, extracting and manipulating data from multiple systems, and producing timely reports, forecasts, and insights that support operational planning, compliance, and capacity management. This position works cross-functionally with Client Services, Scheduling, and Leadership teams to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, translate data into actionable recommendations, and support continuous process optimization initiatives that enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Reporting and Working Relationships
This position will report to the COO of US Inspections.
Primary Responsibilities (100%)
This position operates in a professional office environment.
Travel
One week of travel per month on average should be expected. Travel will be within the United States.

Reporting and Working Relationships

Primary Responsibilities (100%)
- Maintain accurate, complete, and reliable operational and inspection data across systems.
- Export, clean, manipulate, and analyze elevator inspection and compliance data
- Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc operational reports and dashboards.
- Forecast inspection volumes, workload demands, and capacity needs to support planning.
- Identify trends, gaps, and inefficiencies in inspection, scheduling, and compliance processes.
- Partner with Operations, Client Services, Scheduling, and Leadership teams to provide data insights.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by measuring process performance and outcomes.
- Ensure data consistency and standardization across platforms and reporting outputs.
- Document data sources, reporting logic, and process workflows.
- Assist with system enhancements, automation, and process optimization efforts.
- Respond to data requests from leadership and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Manages others through subordinate supervisors.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong experience working with data exports, reporting, and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or similar data analysis tools.
