Shipping Desk Administrator
ATI Racing is a family-owned and operated producer of American-made parts for high-performance automobiles – everything from street rods to NASCAR – and we’re looking for an energetic, full-time individual to support our shipping operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who has good computer skills and experience with warehouse operations especially shipping and inventory.
The ideal candidate has experience using an ERP system, scanners, bar codes and associated hardware and software for increased warehouse efficiency. Additionally, the candidate should be well versed in creating shipments using various distribution methods for shipping parts and products predominately domestically and occasionally globally.
Experience:
- Experience using computer programs including UPS WorldShip, Fed Ex, Microsoft Office, Excel and other related programs to schedule shipments, ticket orders, picking, packing, and ensuring proper postage and shipping requirements are followed.
- Prior experience with automotive parts is a plus.
- Prior experience operating a forklift is a plus.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize assigned tasks
- Problem solving skills with a mechanical aptitude preferred
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, bend, stoop, and/or reach. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Good Computer Skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Process orders for shipping with extreme sense of detail
- Work with production floor & sales to manage orders and expedite when necessary
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Position requires standing and mobility 90% of the day.
- Must have reliable weekday transportation, this position requires punctuality and dependable job attendance.
- Must have a valid US driver's license
Work Schedule: Mon-Friday. NO evenings/nights. NO weekends.
