The PMHNP, NP or PA will provide comprehensive psychiatriccare, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mentalhealth conditions in a rehab and long-term acute care setting. This role involvescollaborating with our team of psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals todeliver integrated and holistic care.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients.• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.• Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and othercollaborative efforts, as needed.• Stay current with advancements in psychiatric care and participate in continuingeducation activities.Qualifications:• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.• Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).• Active and unrestricted RN and APRN or PA licenses in Virginia• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Virginia• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.Benefits:• Competitive salary commensurate with experience.• Comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance.• Retirement plan with employer contribution.• Generous paid time off and holidays.• Continuing education and professional development opportunities.• Supportive and collaborative work environment.Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is an equal opportunity employer.
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
