- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing retail team committed to excellence.
- Manage payroll, cash handling, bookkeeping, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to increase store traffic and sales performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and legal regulations across all store functions.
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, inventory control, and retail math.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, training & development, recruiting, and team leadership.
