Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in supervising daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team by providing training, coaching, and development to ensure high performance and excellent customer service standards.
- Manage employee orientation, interviewing, onboarding processes, and ongoing training to build a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Oversee inventory control procedures such as stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and loss prevention strategies.
- Handle cash handling procedures including cashiering, POS (Point of Sale) system operation, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with precision.
- Support purchasing decisions by monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock audits, and managing supplier relationships to optimize product availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies on sales management, marketing initiatives, store safety protocols, and store cleanliness.
- Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate with team members across shifts, manage customer inquiries effectively via phone etiquette, and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math for sales analysis, pricing adjustments, and budgeting purposes.
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math principles.
- Experience in employee recruiting, interviewing techniques, training & development programs.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team supervision.
- Familiarity with merchandising strategies, stock stocking procedures, marketing initiatives, and wireless sales is advantageous.
