Position Summary
To oversee the growth, development and advancement of Athletico’s team members within an assigned region while ensuring that exceptional patient care is delivered, relationships are cultivated and advanced, and an acute recognition and focus on exceeding metric and goal expectations is maintained.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and Develop High Impact Teams Focused on Results
- Oversight of the daily clinical and administrative operations for assigned region.
- Align team within region to adhere to Athletico’s Core Values, policies, philosophy and Greater Purpose.
- Execute Annual Performance Appraisals for Region’s clinical, administrative and other support staff.
- Model Athletico’s leadership behaviors at all manager, clinical staff and year-end bonus meetings within regional oversight.
- Responsible for advancing, overseeing and delivering exceptional patient care and specialty service lines to patients and local communities.
- Uses innovation to differentiate Athletico, provide value to patients and help build long term relationships.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to efficiently and effectively support recruiting, hiring, and staffing efforts to drive successful staffing and labor management.
- Continuous mentorship, coaching, and development of clinical team members within region including oversight and assistance with all day-to-day operations of facilities within region.
- Influence and support the connection between the field operational team and the Resource Center to provide resources necessary to the regional team for coaching, empowerment, and development of Athletico’s best practices, policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance activities and operations in all aspects of regional performance.
Operational KPI Management and Change Management
- Develop meeting structure using a ‘high-touch model’ of presence for assigned region to review, strategize coach and mentor metrics and performance to ensure achievement of benchmarks, and implementation of action plans and coaching techniques to achieve desired results.
- Oversight of physical environment for all regional facilities including CAPEX expenditures, facility, build out and potential relocation as needed.
- Actively engage with clinical and administrative team and all other key stakeholders within the region around weekly, monthly and quarterly facility results, and KPI’s to ensure transparency and development of facility specific and region wide strategic plans to capitalize on strengths and act on areas for improvement.
- Project business volumes and demands to ensure labor force planning and staffing model fits the business need and influences growth and region/individual clinic profitability.
Relationship/Referral Development
- Develop and operationalize relationship building plan for attainment of new patient referrals with physicians and the community resulting in the cultivation of new business and growth of the region.
- Cultivate facility manager and staff clinicians in promoting clinical specialty services with a focus on new business growth from physicians, patients, and direct access pathways.
- Advance clinical programs and clinical service line developments within the region and individual facilities to meet the needs of referral sources, service communities and patients while supporting the clinical teams’ growth, passion, and skill-set.
P&L Management and Growing Business
- Responsible for annual strategic planning, budgeting/forecasting, goal-setting and results of P&L within individual clinics and region to execute business growth.
- Collaborate with Resource Center departments such as Marketing, Human Resources and Finance as needed to facilitate regional and clinical growth and opportunities within market.
- Develop high quality business plans and strategies to align with Athletico’s overall short and long term objectives.
- Oversee all operations and business activities within the region to ensure achievement of desired results consistent with Athletico’s overall strategy.
- Analyze annual and monthly Profit and Loss statement to drive targeted financial results and top and bottom line success and growth throughout the region.
- Demonstrate high level of expertise and understanding of financial and metric reports and demonstrate ability to utilize reports to make data-driven decisions in order to optimize results.

Qualifications
Job Requirements/Specifications
Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Current Physical Therapist License for state of operation
- 3-5 years of clinical operations experience preferred
- At least 1 year of Facility Manager experience preferred
- Relationship Development excellence (History of quality relationship building with internal and external stakeholders).
- Possesses high degree of business acumen and organizational agility.
- Strong history of coaching, developing, and hiring high performing talent.
