What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coach-First Assistant-Tennis (Girls) position at Athletic Office?
Responsibilities:
*Supports the Head Coach in conducting the athletic program
of that particular sport and the total athletic program.
*Is loyal to the coach and to the team. An Assistant Coach generally
must give up some of his/her own thoughts to conform to the
overall pattern as set forth by the Head Coach.
*Assists the Head Coach in a manner which will be most beneficial
to the entire program.
*Assumes the responsibility for the development and guidance of a
specific team within the total program as assigned by the Head Coach.
*Attends all meetings requested by the Athletic Administrator or
Head Coach.
*Covers scouting trips requested by the Head Coach.
*Assists the Head Coach in checking in all equipment at the
end of the season.
*In the absence of the Head Coach and First Assistant, if any,
assumes all responsibilities herein designated as those of the
Head Coach.
*Abides by the Athletic Department policies and operating
procedures.
*Performs other coaching-related duties as directed by the Head Coach,
Athletic Administrator or Principal.
