Teen Program Coordinator
The position is seasonal from August 2026 - June 2027. Work schedule is Monday to Friday. Applicants must be available between the hours of 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Wednesdays with occasional weekend or evening events.
Overview: The Athletic Club of Bend’s Youth Department is introducing a teen afterschool program this Fall 2026. Working with direction from the Program Director, the Teen Program Coordinator will implement and lead our new teen program. Our target age group is 11 - 14 years.
Job Duties:
Plan, lead and facilitate activities for the program.
Foster a warm and welcoming environment for all.
Support youth in building meaningful relationships with peers and staff members.
Guide youth through behavior challenges and support their successes and improvements.
Work with the Program Director and co-workers in supporting youth’s positive decision making.
Create positive relationships with parents and seek partnership in supporting youth.
Communicate with the Program Director.
Maintain a clean and orderly program environment.
Attend all staff development meetings and show improvement in the areas in which they received training.
Work as a team player.
Show respect for all individuals.
Commit to keep children safe, happy, and healthy above all else.
Practice sanitary standards as expected by the club and Program Director.
Qualification Requirements:
CPR/First Aid Certification before their first day of work.
Pass pre-employment background check.
Experience working with youth.
Show a commitment to respectfully working with a variety of people coming from different backgrounds.
