Mobile Service Technician

Duties:

- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements by traveling in company vehicle to customer’s decided location and performing service on site
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems or areas of concern
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Perform necessary repairs and adjustments to ensure vehicles are operating at optimal levels
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle repairs
- Assist with sales efforts by recommending additional services or products that may benefit customers

Requirements:

- Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required
- Familiarity with Ford vehicles is preferred but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
