Prep Cook – Athenian Grill, Fayette Mall

Athenian Grill is a family-owned restaurant group serving fresh, flavorful Greek favorites, and our Fayette Mall location keeps busy feeding hungry shoppers all day long. Every great gyro, salad, and plate that leaves our kitchen starts with great prep, and that's where you come in.
What You'll Do
- Wash, chop, slice, and dice fresh vegetables like a pro
- Prepare sauces, dressings, and marinades
- Portion and prep proteins so the line is ready to roll
- Label, date, and rotate everything so the kitchen stays fresh and organized
- Keep the walk-in and prep areas spotless and stocked
- Follow recipes carefully so every dish tastes just right, every time
- Help out on the line or with dishes when the team needs an extra hand
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
What We're Looking For
- Prep or kitchen experience is a plus, but we'll train the right attitude
- Comfortable with a knife, or excited to get comfortable with one
- Dependable and on time. The whole kitchen counts on prep being ready!
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work at a steady pace
- A team player who takes pride in clean work and great food
- Early morning availability, including some weekends
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
