Weekend Security Guard

We are hiring a part-time Security Guard to join our dynamic care team at Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center!

Shift is 3p-11p every other weekend. Weekly pay at $17 an hour.

As our Security Guard, you assure the safety and security of the residents, employees, facility, facility grounds, and equipment, and to assist in minor maintenance functions in the absence of the Maintenance Assistant and the Director of Environmental Services.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Security experience and/or a general background in repairs and maintenance.
  
  
  

Specific Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Must have general knowledge of repair and maintenance practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be willing to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Must have patience, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations using effective problem-solving techniques.
