Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring a full-time MDS Coordinator!
Candidate can be an LPN or RN. $40 to $45 an hour if an LPN, $45 to $50 if RN. Weekly pay. Cape Regency is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility.
You plan, organize, and assist in the MDS process, which involves overseeing resident care plans through clinical assessment, review of residents' medical history, personal interviews, and completion of MDS reports.

Requirements:
- Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, college or university.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN/LPN in Massachusetts.
- At least one (1) year of nursing experience required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Coordination of MDS process.
- Oversees ADL training for facility and staff.
- Issues and delivers denial notices timely and appropriately.
- Complete and transmit all CMS approved item sets (MDS)
- Must be knowledgeable of and follow current CMS regulatory guidelines as described in RAI Manual.
- Complies with facility privacy policies and procedures and protects residents’ individual health information.
- Maintains Medicare meeting minutes per Medicare program agreement.
- Issues and delivers Medicare denial letters per CMS regulations.
- Assures appropriate management of residents’ Medicare/Insurance benefits.
- Maintains adequate systems to ensure appropriate documents are sufficient to support billed services.
