As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Athena Home Health & Hospice, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide personalized care and support to patients in their homes, promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional care to patients and their families, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled CNA to join our Hospice team in the Middletown area.

Weekly pay at $22.25 an hour. You must have a valid driver's license and an insured and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Assist with ambulation, exercise, and transfers as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the Case Manager
• Assist with self-administered medications, as allowed by state regulations
• Maintain patient's living area clean and orderly
• Provide emotional support and positive communication techniques to patients and families
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Must hold an active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Connecticut
• At least one year of CNA experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
