Position Summary
This FULL-TIME Audit Coordinator position is located in Hanover, Maryland, and ranges from $25.08-$31.35 per hour depending on experience. This is a brand-new role providing high-level administrative support to the audit team and its manager. It is a reporting-heavy position that involves researching and verifying information for reports, building and maintaining spreadsheets and databases, and keeping projects, files, and schedules organized. Additional job duties may be assigned as needed.
This position is HYBRID, and will go into the office 1-2 days a week.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Provides high-level administrative support to the audit team and the Manager, Performance Audit.
- Maintains audit inventory databases and SharePoint repositories.
- Supports Power BI reporting and dashboard updates.
- Tracks corrective action plans and audit disposition workflows.
- Maintains audit evidence repositories and committee materials.
- Researches and verifies information pertaining to reports, and prepares and distributes reports.
- Performs accurate, detail-oriented data entry.
- Creates and maintains spreadsheets and databases, and analyzes moderately complex data.
- Prepares and tracks budgets.
- Supports projects by assisting the manager and department, building and maintaining project plans and schedules, and contributing to meetings to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Prepares correspondence and reviews documentation for conformance with internal policies and procedures.
- Maintains files and folders on the shared drive, keeping them organized and current.
- Orders supplies, coordinates meetings, and compiles and distributes meeting minutes.
- Handles travel arrangements and expense reports.
- May screen, handle, or distribute incoming calls and complaints.
- Keeps office flow running smoothly, drawing on an understanding of how a medical office operates.
- Adapts quickly to changing priorities.
- Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy. These are a MUST.
- Experience working in a doctor's office or medical office, with a solid understanding of office flow.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and other spreadsheet software.
- Comfortable working in shared drives and SharePoint, and managing files.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting/dashboard tools a plus.
- Experience with report-heavy work.
- Flexibility is a MUST. Changes will happen, and sometimes fast.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills within the English language.
- Proven, high quality customer service (internal and external customers).
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.
- Requires HS diploma or GED and a minimum of 4 years administrative experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Computer experience and typing skill of 45 words per minute preferred.
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
